This video is a Public Service Announcement for Colorado Homeowners on the front range or who live in areas prone to wildfires. In light of the Maui fires, we felt compelled to share an important resource from the Colorado State Forest Service.

We’ve had a wet year here in Colorado, but this is an important reminder of the importance of fire safety. We have unfortunately had similar fire tragedies here in Colorado in recent years, and we are deeply saddened by the tragedy and loss of life and destruction on Maui. Part of what makes us so passionate about stone-coated steel metal roofing is that it is a product that has proven to dramatically improve the safety of your home, from fire, hail and wind.

And we just wanted to take a few minutes to express our prayers and our thoughts for the folks in Maui in Colorado. We’ve had a really wet year, but we all know that fires are just a breath away. And so we feel for Maui and are thinking about you. And we just want to take a minute to remind our fellow residents in Colorado to be aware of fire and fire concerns.

It’s important to understand the risks at your home for fire. And the Colorado State Forest Service has a great website that talks about ways to keep your home and your property safe from fire, or at least reduce the risk of fire. And the first thing on their list is a class A fire-resistant roof, which is very important to us at Lianro Metal Roofs.

And we’ve seen some of the images coming out of Maui of homes with metal roofs that did survive the fire. And so we’re just creating an awareness. We wish you all blessings and to be aware and to be safe out there.
